About WAVES

Water, Aquatic Vertebrate, and Environmental Stress (WAVES) Lab is in the division of behavioral sciences at Maryville College in Appalachia.

 

We study the neuroendocrine and ecological impacts of environmental stress in wild and domesticated fish.

 

Further, we use laboratory and field studies to understand the neural and genetic mechanisms underlying resistance to environmental stressors.
